About Me

Andrew Earl

As a life long Maury County resident, I became a Realtor® to help the people in my community. Real Estate has quickly become a passion in my life and I am very fortunate my wife and family have supported me throughout this journey.  


What I enjoy most is educating my clients in the buying and selling of their homes. I believe everyone needs someone in their corner when it comes to the biggest purchases of their lives. 


I pride myself on being a true “people person.” My mother always said I would be a good Realtor so I thought I would take that advice and here we are. There will be no “salesmen speech.” I will shoot you straight. I will show you every option and most importantly I will give you my honest opinion no matter what.

First Steps...

Mortgage Pre-Approval:

Getting pre-qualified for a home loan is the first step toward a successful home buying experience. Mortgage pre-approval tells you how much you can afford to spend on your new home.


Find Your New House:

You can now begin the search for your new home. Once you’ve identified a dwelling that meets all your specifications, you will submit your pre-qualification letter and offer to the seller. I can help you negotiate a purchase agreement. Once your offer is accepted, your mortgage application and good faith estimate is revised to reflect the details of the real estate contract. Locking in an interest rate will also be discussed at this time.

And then...

Insurance:

Mortgage companies require fire and hazard insurance on the replacement value of your new home. Flood insurance may also be required if your new home is located within a flood zone. The first year’s home owner’s insurance premium is typically factored into your closing cost.


Inspections and Appraisal:

Most purchase loans require an inspection for termites before a sale is finalized. You will also want to talk to your agent about conducting a whole house inspection – or redo inspection - before closing. Mortgage lenders also require an appraisal to justify the price of your new home. The purchase agreement may be renegotiated if the appraisal doesn’t match the purchase price.

Closing

Your mortgage packet undergoes a review process to insure that all documents are in order. Once it is approved, then you can set a date and time to sign papers and make everything official.

Closing the deal

Your closing date represents the culmination of what can be a long and overwhelming process. Here are some key things to remember before you sign on the dotted line.

• Make arrangements for obtaining title insurance. Review with your attorney or accountant how to hold title to property regarding estate planning/tax implications.

• File a change of address with the post office and transfer utilities prior to your move.

• Arrange a final walkthrough to inspect utility function, completion of repairs, removal of garbage and personal property.

• Obtain operating instructions, home warranties and home owners association rules, regulations and covenants from seller if applicable.

• Confirm method of payment for paying the balance of the down payment and closing costs. Have valid identification with you at closing. Obtain keys, garage door openers and alarm codes at time of possession.
